Satellite Engineer

Satellite Engineers design, build, test, and maintain satellites and satellite systems used in communication, weather monitoring, navigation, and other applications. Their role involves working with both the hardware (satellite structure, propulsion systems) and software (communication systems, telemetry, and control). Satellite Engineers are involved in the entire lifecycle of a satellite project, from initial concept through to launch and operational phase. They require expertise in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, and systems engineering. A background in space technology, physics, or electrical engineering is essential, along with skills in project management and software development for satellite systems.
